Blazing Beaks is a roguelike game in which the player enters a world rendered in a pixel art style filled with heavily-armed birds. The birds must fight their way through waves of mutants to unravel various mysteries and explore the world around them.

There are 10 playable characters to choose from, and the world is randomly generated to help make each playthrough feel different from the last. The player’s goal is to explore the world and kill mutants while unraveling the mysteries around them.

The main single-player mode may be the marquee way to play the game, but there are other story modes to experience. There is no online multiplayer, but local co-op multiplayer is available in both the main story and a tournament mode. As well as playing other creations, players can also create their own characters and share them with the community.
